(My guess is that there’s bad code involved with how transparent hair is rendered/ordered, and/or how shadows work with hair, in HS1.) I’ve noticed that in HS1 the fps lowers whenever more than one hair piece/slot is used on the character. Spent about 10 days upgrading the custom armature I use for rigging faces to version 3.
